I have been foolishly testing too early all week, going to different stores trying to find the one that would give results the earliest. (I think it was a little too liberating to just pick one out without asking the pharmacist like in Korea). This morning I got a positive result! And I got another one this afternoon. I have a few more tests that I can use up so I'll keep testing until I run out—it's more fun when they're positive! I will wait until Monday to call the doctor's office since my period isn't actually due until Friday and I'll feel better knowing that I at least missed that before I set up a first appointment.
I am planning to send a photograph of Anna holding a big sister sign to the grandparents and aunts & uncles, but I think I'll wait until later to tell other people although I'm not entirely sure how long I can hold out.
Baby's due date is May 5, 2007 and although we're not entirely sure where we'll be at that time, I'm hopeful that everything will go as smoothly as last time and that one of the grandmas will be able to be with us.
According to Your Pregnancy Week by Week, "Baby is only a group of cells that are multiplying and growing rapidly. The embryo is the size of the head of a pin and would be visible to the naked eye if it weren't inside you. The group of cells doesn't look like a fetus or a baby... During this first week, the embryo is about .0006 inch (0.150mm) long."—simply amazing!
