I made my doctor's appointments because I had to call and ask about going to the dentist and changing the cat litter (and no sign of my period today and I've had several more positive tests so I feel like it's really happening). My first doctor's appointment is with nurse and is just an interview. That is on September 20 (I'll be 7.5 weeks). My first appointment with my doctor is on October 2 (I'll be 9 weeks). It was definitely much more satisfying to just walk right in to the clinic in Korea! It feels like such a long time to wait! I have no real idea what to expect either, I'm guessing they'll listen for the heartbeat at the October 2 appointment.
My partial crown has really started hurting this week when I drink anything (cold or room temperature) so I have to go in and have them look at it next week. I needed to ask the doctor what is/isn't allowed medication-wise first though. Also, Craig is going to be out of town next week and the cat's litter box needs to be changed. Either I hire the pet sitter to come out three times ($45), ask the neighbor kid to do it, or do it myself and am very careful to not breathe anything in or get anything on my hands. I'm not ready to tell the neighbors and I don't necessarily want to fork over $45 for three litter clean-ups. I suppose the other option is to kick the cat outside for the week, but I don't think she'd make it five minutes!
