16 Weeks 5 Days Pregnant

I decided to get my act together and really scour the message boards for OB recommendations in Doha and finally emailed our friend for her recommendation (Ilona had a baby in Doha in March). I came up with two names and one was the same doctor Ilona used and liked. So, I'm starting with Dr. Rizvi and considering Dr. Maha as a back-up. The hospital Dr. Rizvi is at is also supposed to have some good pediatricians so that is a double bonus. The hospital is private so Craig will be able to be in the delivery room with me (my number one concern). I feel like having this plan is a major load of stress off of my back.

I also stocked up on my favorite nursing pads (should have a one-year supply) and got a few things for Baby at Super Target this weekend that I don't want to do without in Qatar.

I feel pretty good for the most part, but I carried Anna home from the park Sunday and my sciatic nerve was really hurting that night when I was trying to sleep. It feels better than Sunday night & Monday but it is still bothering me; hopefully it will feel better in the next couple of days, but I guess that means I can't really carry Anna much (not that I have been, but I'll be more conscientious about it!).

Your Pregnancy Week by Week says Baby is 4.3 to 4.6 inches (108 to 116 mm) long and is about 2.8 ounces (80 g) this week.

Happy Thanksgiving! Hope Craig made it home okay...assuming he did. I got up early and made Crock Pot Apple Pie! It smells amazing. Yesterday I made pumpkin pies and Turtle Bars! Wish you were here.
