Craig found a package of two vanilla beans at Mega Mart this afternoon. The price? 45 Riyals ($12.36 USD). I don't know how I'll ever decide which dish is appropriate to use them in at that price!

I think you got a bargain. One vanilla bean was over $7.00 at Safeway the other day!! If you use it for something, save the part that you scrape the seeds out of and keep it in a container of sugar...you will have vanilla sugar for baking.
Good to know that I got a deal! Thanks for the tip on the sugar, I will definitely try it.
