7 December 2004 (Tuesday)

The movers come to take my PowerMac from me on Thursday so I'll try to make my last post from the iBook sometime next week before I leave or shortly after I get back to Texas...

I went to my last water aerobic class this morning and then Vanessa, Brandy & I went to Davinci for some coffee. On the way we stopped to get some lemon-custard filled fish pastries (like the red-bean paste fish I had a long time ago, but these were so much better!). I had a hot chocolate at Davinci.

6 December 2004 (Monday)

I went to Lotte Mart probably for the last time yesterday. I don't know why that would make me sad since I'm trading it in for a TARGET in Texas, but it was sad nonetheless.

Today I went to Busan and got sick on the passenger ferry again. Luckily the ride back wasn't as bumpy as the ride over. I did some shopping in the market and again, was sad to think that it was my last time to go to Busan before I leave! I guess I'm just getting to be too sentimental for my own good! I will miss a lot of things about Korea, but I won't miss having to take a ferry to the city, I'd settle for Houston traffic over sickening ferry rides any day!

4 December 2004 (Tuesday)

I went to Mari's yesterday for a pedicure to clean up my feet one last time before I head back to Texas--it was a very relaxing way to spend part of my afternoon!

Tonight we went to Craig's project's Christmas party at the Geoje Arts center in Janseungpo and then left a little early to meet up with the TKD group on the TKD 12 Days of Christmas Pub Crawl. The Christmas party was nice and had better catering than last year's party. The pub crawl was pretty intense, the goal was to hit 12 bars in Okpo. We showed up at the 4th bar and stayed for four more (Craig had to work Sunday so we didn't want to stay out too late). It was fun to see everyone out with their spouses--even Sabeamnim went out!
