I did the gluing (but Anna ran the glue stick—with the lid on—all over the picture) and Anna drew a couple of light waves of water with the crayon. She seemed pretty please with our joint-effort piece of art.
We went to story time today and Anna seemed to really like it. She liked the library, too. Aunt Rachel would be proud as most of our lunch conversation consisted of "Library. Fun! Story time. Fun!" Repeat.
This week's theme was boats and I didn't realize that story time had actually started up again last week and we missed the train theme (something Anna is still really into after riding on the train last week). We did pick up a couple of books that she seems to like though so that was a fun way to spend our day: reading and re-reading and re-reading these new books over and over and over again.
